RECONSTRUCTION OF BRANKO MILJKOVIC PRIMARY SCHOOL ON SCHEDULE

President of Palilula Boban Džunić with associates, Milos Stojkovic, Aleksandar Ždrale and Svetislav Petrovic, visited the school "Branko Miljkovic" where the finishing works on the reconstruction of the classroom and part of the school building are in progress. After two years of preparatory activities and numerous administrative problems regarding the implementation of this project, at the end of last year the Government of the Republic of Serbia - Ministry of Economy signed a trilateral agreement with the contractors.

The works were entrusted with the construction companies from Leskovac. The contract specifies that the planned operations at the end of the investment are carried out during the period of 180 calendar days. Palilula Municipality in the cooperation with parents, management and members of the Council of primary school "Branko Miljkovic" in Nis, actively have participated in creating the conditions that this problem finally resolved. Due to financial problems and changes in the project plan, works began after more than two years of waiting, which caused the special organization of instruction in school. After completion, more than 900 students of this school will be able at the beginning of the new school year to return to two-shifts.
